Ingredients

Feta cheese cubes
½ cup All-purpose flour
¼ cup Cornstarch
1 tsp Garlic powder
1 tsp Paprika
½ tsp Oregano
Salt & pepper (to taste)
Panko breadcrumbs (spicy or plain)
Cold water (as needed for batter)
Oil (for frying)

Instructions

Pat the feta dry thoroughly and cut into small bite-sized cubes to help the coating stick better.

In a mixing bowl, whisk together flour, cornstarch, garlic powder, paprika, oregano, salt, and pepper. Slowly add cold water while whisking until a thick, smooth batter forms.

Dip each feta cube into the batter, ensuring it is fully coated, then roll in panko breadcrumbs. Repeat the coating process once more for an extra crispy crust.

Place the coated feta cubes on a parchment-lined tray and freeze for 15–20 minutes to help them firm up and hold their shape during frying.
