Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix softened butter, minced garlic, chili flakes, and chopped parsley. Set aside.
  2. For the sauce, heat butter and olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add and sauté the garlic for about a minute until fragrant, then add the heavy cream. Stir in all the seasonings followed by parmesan cheese, whisking until the sauce thickens. Adjust seasoning as needed and set aside.
  3. Preheat the oven to 350°F. Spread the prepared garlic butter evenly over the cut side of the bread. Place the bread on a baking sheet and bake for about 7 minutes, or until it’s slightly toasty.
  4. Cook the @pilgrimschickenusa Buttery Mini Nuggets according to the packaging.
  5. Remove the toasted bread from the oven. Spread a generous layer of the Alfredo sauce on top. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese evenly over the sauce, then layer with the cooked chicken nuggets. Drizzle additional Alfredo sauce over the chicken if desired.
  6. Place the assembled bread back in the oven and bake for 10–15 minutes, or until the cheese is fully melted and bubbly. Garnish with fresh parsley and slice into portions. Serve with extra Alfredo sauce for dipping.

Note

• Soften the butter well so it spreads easily and evenly over the bread without tearing it.
• Keep the heat on medium while making the Alfredo sauce to avoid curdling or splitting.
• Don’t over-toast the bread in the first bake—it should be lightly crisp, not hard.
• Use freshly grated parmesan for a smoother, creamier sauce texture.
• Let it rest for a few minutes after baking so it slices cleanly and holds together better.
